Meet Stacy Harjer, Director of Business Development for Language Network.
Stacy started her career as a Junior Lobbyist at a start up public policy firm before she moved into the language industry, starting at a small LSP and eventually moving to a larger company. Her start at the public policy firm fueled an interest in language access within government institutions and she has developed a passion for growth and affecting change within smaller companies. Stacy was attracted to Language Network due to its small and growing nature that would allow her the opportunity to grow with it, in addition to the outstanding team and company culture.
Stacy is most proud of her ability to contribute to the healthcare industry's language needs through her post for the Joint Commission on language compliance and the models she developed for employee interpreter staffing at major California hospitals and health systems. Along with these accomplishments, she is proud of her son, Sawyer, who she just cannot live without! Whenever Stacy isn't enjoying some time with her son, you might see her at crossfit, boxing, doing hot yoga, or sipping some wine.
Some traits that Stacy most values are dependability and honesty. She finds that both help to establish trust and that honesty often creates a sense of calm that can reduce anxieties. She often exemplifies these traits herself, trying to establish a strong sense of trust and security with those around her.
